This project has been a long time coming, including lots of dreaming, designing, redesigning, questioning and proposing. It began with one central thought—lets create something that doesn’t exist.
As developers, builders and realtors we are constantly looking to improve upon and add to our city and one thing that we liked so much about this project is that it allows us to add to the grandeur that is inherently Moss Avenue.
“One of my favorite aspects of this project is that it allowed me to work with each one of my kids to make this vision become a reality. My son is the project manager, my daughter is the realtor who also found us the land and my other daughter is our lead designer. It’s a dream to get to work with each of my kids.”

As we began designing The Brownstones one of our biggest goals was to create something that would stand the test of time, as each of its surrounding neighbors have done so beautifully. We wanted to create something that would belong. For that reason, we chose a Brownstone or row house design common in bigger cities that was made popular between 1890-1930. Our next step was building materials; brick and stone seemed like an obvious choice accented by tall black windows to let in plenty of natural light. We chose three different brick styles to create contrast but also a seamless design.
From there the designs have continued to take their cues from Moss Avenue. The juxtaposition that we settled on includes high ceilings, transom doors, and statement staircases. The main floor design is a shotgun style floorplan which maximizes space and lets in tons of natural light. The upper levels feature two large bedroom suites with walk in closets and upper level laundry plus a full basement.
Our goal is that each buyer will take the vision that we have created and then work with our designer, Madison, to make it their own. Each brownstone is designed to be customized to the buyer’s specific tastes. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Currently there are three different floor plans varying in designs. Each feature two bedrooms upstairs, 2.5 bathrooms, upper level laundry, and the capability for a finished basement. Units vary in approx. 1,600 sq feet. Each unit has the option to be 90% customizable, and we make that process easy. Get the finishes you love, the look you adore, all in the first new construction project on Historic Moss Ave. in decades.
